What we do.
We started Shawarma Moose as a restaurant on College Street. Catering came later — and quickly became most of the business. We feed hundreds of teams a month, from 25-person board lunches to 500-person weddings and mosque dinners.
Our food is built on three things: real halal certification (every protein, no exceptions), generous spreads (we won't skimp because you said "casual"), and clear labels so dietary-mixed groups know what's safe.
We're family-run. Sam Patel handles every catering quote personally. When you book with us, you have one person's email and one person's phone, not a ticket queue.

We don't run a "halal section." The whole menu is halal-certified — chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, kebabs, souvlaki, every protein. We've catered mosque Iftars during Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha celebrations, and corporate events where halal certification matters. Vegan and vegetarian options (falafel, marinated tofu, salad bars, samosas) are always available alongside.
