The most-asked questions.
How far in advance should I book?
Same-day catering is available for orders placed at least four hours before serving, with a 10-guest minimum.
How many people do you cater for?
We cater for 10 to 1,000 guests and have completed an event for 1,000 guests. Call (647) 340-8001 if your request falls outside that range.
Is everything halal?
All meat served by Shawarma Moose is halal and supplied by Arslan Shawarma Production. The kitchen does not handle non-halal meat, pork, or alcohol. Supplier documentation is available on request. Vegan and vegetarian options such as falafel and tofu are also available.
What dietary options do you offer?
We accept allergen-specific orders when the exact allergy is disclosed before ordering. Confirmed selections can be prepared using dedicated preparation areas, equipment, fryers, utensils, and storage. We can also label halal, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian selections based on the confirmed order.
How much does catering cost?
Just Wraps is $10/person and shared Shawarma & Rice is $10/person, both for 10+ guests. Choose Mediterranean Signature, Classic or Feast; Greek Signature, Classic or Feast; or the simple Build Your Own Shawarma Bar. Mediterranean tiers start at $13, $18 and $23 per person. The shawarma bar starts at $10 per person for 10+ guests. Greek planning estimates start at $15.99, $20.99 and $27.99 per person, with portions and final pricing confirmed in your quote. Individually packaged bowls start at $14–$16/person and wraps at $10–$12 each. Delivery, add-ons, and 13% HST are separate.
What's included in the price?
The package price includes the food, sauces, sides, and any drinks or desserts explicitly listed for that tier. Delivery, disposables, beverages, desserts, setup, chafing equipment, cleanup, serving staff, and 13% HST are separate when applicable. Linens and rentals are not offered.
